The ideal working light
Due to the type of bulb, energy-saving lamps are predestined for illuminating the workplace. They are very efficient as 70 to 80 percent of the current is converted into light.
Electronic ballast
Lamps that are additionally equipped with electronic ballast ignite immediately and ensure flicker-free lighting. Moreover, the electronic ballast further increases the efficiency by up to 20 percent so that the life of the tube is considerably extended.
Long life
The somewhat higher purchase price, however, is recouped within 1 to 2 years depending how often the lamp is used. The life of fluorescent and compact lamps is in the order of 8 to 12 years.
